Batumi VR Days is TOFUZI’s dedicated VR section, running for three days within the International Festival of Animated Films in Batumi.
Presented with Institut français de Géorgie
The French immersive selection is presented with the support of Institut français de Géorgie and the Institut français Catalogue XR.



Visitors enter the 360° films together: every headset starts at the same moment, turning individual viewing into a shared screening. Interactive works run on dedicated stations.

Big worlds for young viewers. A warm, playful programme for children and families. Every headset starts together, turning individual viewing into a shared screening.

Mormoverse 360
A handmade toy kitten comes alive and enters a hidden world of lost children’s things — a gentle story about friendship, care and helping each other.

Since 2022, the university atrium has become TOFUZI’s meeting place for shared VR screenings, first encounters with headsets and hands-on immersive work.

Webby Award-winning XR Producer & Director · Festival Curator · Founder of Film XR
Georgy’s work with Jean-Michel Jarre includes OXYMORE, winner of the 2023 Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Experiential Design, and Versailles 400. He curated Open Frame VR at goEast Film Festival from 2018 to 2023, founded VR_SciFest and has led Batumi VR Days within TOFUZI since 2022.
Based in Paris, he is a Fulbright Fellow with an MA in Film & Video from American University.
